If you ever wanted a quick and free way to get new content for your website you probably already heard about going through expired domains in hope of content that is not indexed for example. Don’t get me wrong that can be quite an useful method, especially with the right tools.
Now. On this method we are going to use a resource that fewer people know about.
Basically we are going to use subreddit https://www.reddit.com/r/opendirectories
Make sure that once you make the search you select "Show results from
r/opendirectories"
Get on it. And search for your niche and specific keywords. Note that you won’t find content for all niches, but if you do there is a high chance that the content will be unique and not indexed in google.
How to check the content uniqueness.
- If it is text you can use tools like copyscape (paid) or grammarly (free to check plagiarism).
- If it is an image you can reverse check it on google.
P.S. this is not a ground braking method or something to use every day, but it is worthed as an extra method that can improve your project. Plus it takes a couple of minutes to search and check for uniqueness.
