i am planning to buy a SSD for my toshiba satellite laptop with i3 processor & 6gb ram. but i dont understand technicalitites . help me with it pls. suggest what could be best for me.
i need it for heavy video editing

There are may out there.
I personally use SK Hynix Gold with which I do random video editing with after effects, use photoshop and illustrator. I most often use Blender and do rendering runs smoothly and fast.
Since you are into video editing, i think you can make your decision from this link because I can’t tell of your budget. And remember to read the reason to avoid section. Do enjoy.

My laptop use ssd Samsung 860 Evo 1TB. Almost 2 years use no issue so far, also read write speed performance excelent.

get samsung 860 evo or the newer one 870 evo just dont purchase a size less then 250gb go for 250gb or more they are pretty good ssds as i have samsung 860evo 500gb you can also look for wd too
