I want to choose between udacity’s self-driving car engineer & AI for a health care nano degree, plese help? I am not sure about self-driving car nano degree is outdated or still worth it.
3 years ago, I would have told you to go with your eyes closed.
Today, I don’t. It’s a really great program, but it no longer makes you feel like you’re at the cutting-edge. It’s also quite outdated, similar to the Robotics Software Nanodegree.
If you can afford to pay for the program, you should definitely take it.
- It’s an amazing experience. Not only you learn about the industry, but you get to know the importance of a community, a team and how it feels to be responsible while working with some of the amazing and experienced team members.

As someone who has completed both courses I would agree with the above comment, however I would add that if you know nothing at all, learning what is behind the old technology won’t hurt if you were so eager to study these courses. Lastly I would add that it’s important you study by subject area and skip around rather than assuming the importance of studying the whole course.
