Good question – speed jumps like that usually come from a few things stacking up at once. More capacity on the busiest models and smarter routing to a faster model when the prompt is simple can cut queue time a lot. Caching common prompts and answers helps too, since not every request needs a full fresh run. If the site also trimmed page weight or moved inference closer to users, the whole thing feels snappier even before the model answers. Worth testing the same prompt at a quiet hour versus peak time – if the gap shrinks, it was mostly load, not a model change.
