I hear that there are esim no yearly subscription and can text any country someone should help me I really need it
Three taps. $7/month. Real phone number. Texts any country. Cancel anytime. No yearly bullshit.
You got told this thing exists — yeah it does. Every “best travel eSIM” article lies because the names they push (Airalo, Holafly, Nomad…) are all data-only and can’t send SMS to save their lives.
The side-door launched a few weeks ago. Most reviews still say it’s “coming soon.” It isn’t. Open the loot below ![]()
🎯 THE ONE — Roamless eSIM + Roamless Number — $7/mo, cancel anytime
This is the answer for 90% of people. Don’t overthink it.
| Step | What | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Download Roamless app | Free | |
| Subscribe to a Roamless Number (UK, CA, or AU) | $6.95/mo or $59.45/yr | |
| Top up Credits | $5 ≈ 50 texts |
→ Number sends + receives SMS to/from any country
→ Credits never expire (no 30-day timer crap)
→ Cancel any month → number gone, no further charges
→ Works in 200+ countries with the same eSIM
→ Receives bank OTPs + 2FA codes (the big one)
Trap they bury: Your number lives INSIDE the Roamless app, not your phone’s stock Messages app. Delete the app = lose your OTPs. Keep it installed. End of story.

💰 BROKE MODE — $0.99/month virtual numbers
Pair any cheap data eSIM (or just wifi) with a $0.99 virtual number app. Cheapest path. Period.
| App | Number cost | Outgoing SMS | Anonymous? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fanytel | $0.99/mo US · $1.99 UK/CA · $6.99 AU | from $0.10/text | No |
| MoreMins | from $0.99/mo · 50+ countries | varies, dirt cheap | No |
| Blacktel | crypto-pay friendly | varies | Yes (BTC accepted) |
The catch: Some destination carriers (US T-Mobile, some Indian operators) silently bin SMS from “internet numbers” — their fraud filter clocks them as VoIP and bounces them. No error message. The text just disappears.
→ Sending to most countries = fine
→ Sending to certain strict carriers = sometimes vanishes
→ Pay $7 for Roamless if a missed bank OTP would screw you

📱 REAL CELLULAR eSIM — WorldSIM Pro (texts land in your phone's NATIVE Messages app)
If you want texts in your phone’s normal Messages app — not stuck inside a third-party app — this is the only mainstream player that does it.
→ ~$35 entry (eSIM + starter airtime)
→ Free UK number included
→ Real cellular 4G/5G SMS — not VoIP
→ Lifetime validity (1 recharge/year keeps it alive)
→ 200+ countries roaming
→ Supports WhatsApp + bank OTPs on the same number
THE TRAP THEY DON’T MENTION — surfaced from a Trustpilot support-chat transcript, NOT on the product page:
If you go idle for 3 months → WorldSIM wipes your credit AND reassigns your phone number to someone else.
Set a recurring 75-day calendar reminder. Make a $1 top-up. Otherwise you come back to dead credit + a stranger now owns your number. Brutal.

🪤 DON'T BUY THESE — every listicle pushes them, none can send SMS
Every “Top 10 Travel eSIM” article on Google pushes these. All data-only. Every one of them confirms it on their own help page. WhatsApp works. Real SMS does not. Save your money.
Airalo— data-only (their own FAQ confirms)Holafly— unlimited data, zero SMSNomad— data-onlyUbigi— data-only, no number assignedGigSky— data-onlySaily— data-only (NordVPN-owned)Surfroam— data-only, no phone numberKeepgo— data-only, lifetime data but zero SMSWorld eSIM (Vision Mobile Hawaii)— data-onlyBNESIM— global eSIMs data-only (their virtual numbers are a separate paid add-on)
One sneaky exception: Airalo’s USA-specific plan does include a real +1 number with SMS. Almost never mentioned. If “any country” mostly means the USA, this could undercut Roamless.

🔧 DEV-MODE SIDE-DOOR — REST API access to real-number eSIMs (for the technical lot)
For the coders / curious / people who like seeing behind the curtain:
eSIM.tech (Dutch outfit) — single REST API, provisions real local eSIMs with phone numbers in 25+ countries, supports voice + SMS + data, no minimums, no contracts. Pay-as-you-go at near-wholesale rates.
→ Cellular SMS (not VoIP — won’t get flagged)
→ Real number per country (US, UK, NL, DE, FR, ES, etc.)
→ GDPR-hosted in EU
→ A single retail person CAN buy a single eSIM
Most people won’t bother — it’s API-first. But it shows what the wholesale floor actually looks like. Consumer pricing is marked up 5-10× off this. If you know a dev friend, ask them to wrap it for you.
🎯 PICK-YOUR-LANE — situation → tool (the only table you actually need)
| Your situation | Use this |
|---|---|
| Just need it to work, $7/mo is fine | Roamless + Roamless Number |
| Skint mode, fine with random texts dropping | Fanytel $0.99 or MoreMins $0.99 |
| Want texts in phone’s native Messages app | WorldSIM Pro + 75-day reminder |
| Already have Jio / Airtel / home eSIM, just need foreign SMS | Skip new eSIM → add Fanytel or Roamless Number on top |
| Texting mostly the USA | Airalo USA SMS plan (the buried one) |
| Want full anonymity, crypto pay | Blacktel |
| Can read an API doc | eSIM.tech |
Simple-pimple: Roamless app + Number = $7/mo, text any country, cancel whenever. Every “best travel eSIM” article is selling you data plans that physically cannot text. The thing you heard about? Real. The side-door? Just opened. Go text whoever you’ve been trying to reach. ![]()
