🧹 Osenpa Disk Analyzer — free Windows disk scanner that lists every file it deletes

:broom: Free Windows disk scanner — finds what fills the drive, lists every file it deletes

Osenpa Disk Analyzer 1.1.1 · Windows 10 2004+ / 11 · x64 · free · one 155 MB file

How I run it

  1. I take the portable EXE, which asks for admin, or the Store build, which does not — they reach different folders.
  2. I pick one drive, or Scan all, and it reads the NTFS index first, then crawls what it cannot index.
  3. I work the filters: Large & old (1 GiB, 90 days), Videos, Games, Archives, Safely cleanable.
  4. I clear cache and temp with Free space now, and my Downloads folder stays mine.
  5. I look at what it removed before I press delete: freed space, every file, every skipped item, by name.

What it says about itself

  • No treemap, no duplicate finder, no registry play — printed on the product page.
  • Delete is permanent, so the printed list is the record you keep.
  • Search shows the first 2,000 matches and keeps the real total beside it.
  • Everything runs on your machine; the launch only checks its update file.

Thanks for featuring Osenpa Disk Analyzer. One important clarification: Free Space Now starts immediately, cannot be cancelled and includes the Recycle Bin in its fixed cleanup scope. The receipt appears afterward and shows counts, categories and reported skips, not every deleted path or a pre-deletion approval step. Please update step 5 and the title to reflect this. The current version is 1.1.2, with a 3.1 MiB portable EXE.

I’ve been burned by an aggressive disk cleaner before (it wiped a folder of project assets I kept meaning to “organize later”), so the printed per-file deletion log is exactly the feature that makes me trust this one. Reviewing by name before anything becomes permanent changes the whole dynamic — most cleaners just show a progress bar and hope you don’t ask questions.

Also appreciate the honesty about what it doesn’t do (no registry play, no duplicate finder). The “Safely cleanable” filter plus review-before-delete is how this category should work.
