Stream .mkv files from google drive

Hi,
I am currently Uploading all my video files (Anime) into google drive[WIP], I want to stream them without downloading them , is there any way for it.
If possible I am thinking of hosting a website from the drive (using https://drv.tw ) and I would like to Stram those From directly The drive. Most of them are .mkv 1080p with dual audio, subtitles
I really think This is not possible but can some one atleast suggest me what to do.

NO USELESS SUGGESTIONS.

yaa Thank for your reply , i have already read that post before posting my question,

I want to stream them via a website, not via an app.

That service you linked gains all Access Rights to your Google Drive. Take Precautions

you should try GDIndex instead, this is simple and safe, typically it indexes your google drive but more importantly provides you with a direct link to video files etc, it can also display webpages

either way whichever service you use, you will have to design your own STATIC HTML WEBPAGE with links to your video files within iframe

likewise, you will have to make multiple webpages linking all your video files one by one :upside_down_face:unless someone comes with an automated script to do the same

and then link each webpage with one another, so you can browse easily.

mkv is exception

Its a fake edu mail So there is no place for privacy leak.

and linking videos to the site is not a big deal, i think i can do it.

and i just need a html “type” player which can play mkv files with subtitles and audio. thats it

no Web Browser supports mkv, so you cannot directly play these files

few people have found success in playing the video by using other libraries … but the next thing … the audio won’t work

people have cried in this https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1422891#c9 thread for 2 years

There are two ways you can play the mkv videos

  1. run ffmpeg and encode all your video files to supported format
    OR
  2. enable share on your mkv video file and embed the share link in html page, youtube player will be used, but this will expose your google drive, making it susceptible to take down

I think that solves up my question as we cannot play mkv files on a browser
