  • Stremio + Torrentio + Debrid pulled casual users away from self-hosting. Fewer tutorials getting written = existing tutorials rotting.

  • DMM (Debrid Media Manager) is new. Auto-syncs debrid library, handles duplicates, integrates with arr stack.

  • Jellyfin 10.9+ overhauled hardware transcoding. If any guide tells you to โ€œinstall NVENC drivers manuallyโ€ โ€” itโ€™s old.

  • Riven/Iceberg replaced the old โ€œarr stack + rdt-clientโ€ workflow for debrid users. Simpler, faster, less containers.

  • Intro/outro skip plugins actually work now. Most tutorials donโ€™t mention them.

  • Trakt scrobbling โ€” Track what you watch across platforms. Somehow still missing from 90% of guides.

  • Cross-seed โ€” Auto-find matching torrents across trackers to boost ratio. Mandatory for private tracker users.

I am def going to check this out, Iโ€™m a long time Kodi user & RD Subscriber! I know a few months ago RD was threatened with legal action which isnโ€™t new but there was something different to this one and they did make some changes where almost all my Addons that use RD stopped working - I could only get 1 to work for a while. I donโ€™t the full story but recently it seems like it might be back in full swing again. I still renew my 9month subscription to RD without hesitation as it is well worth the money which isnโ€™t alot - I think 6 months premium subscription ends up coming out to like $18. Thanks again I canโ€™t wait to try!!

Real debrid was my go to debrid service back then but now they have problem with french contentโ€ฆ Like any torrent youโ€™ll add from ygg/torrent9 is flagged as infringing torrent due to a strike by the french gov or smth like that.

Your best bet for a debrid service for now is torbox. Go and give it a try and thank me later!

Hi! Iโ€™m new into these things :sweat_smile: . I tried to install torrentio but in my Stremio PC app says that โ€œpage not foundโ€ :smiling_face_with_tear:. Why is that? And what have I done wrong?

went down a research rabbit hole and came back withโ€ฆ a lot.

whatโ€™s new:

  • legal ways to pay way less (carrier bundles, credit card tricks, library card cheat codes โ€” yes really)
  • more backup addons when the main ones act up
  • the whole self-hosting section got beefed up (managed hosting options if you donโ€™t wanna touch servers)
  • international stuff for non-US folks
  • like 50+ new links that actually work
    โ€ฆ etc
