NO-FRILLS BUDGET PROXY SHOPS
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Bare-bones, cheap-shop pricing, no polished enterprise dashboards required. Here’s the legitimate tier that matches what you’re after.
Key One — The No-Frills, Cheap-Shop Category
| Provider | Price | Model | Trust Check | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Storm Proxies | $10/port residential, unlimited bandwidth | Port/thread-based, no per-GB billing | Reviewed as “cheap, no-frills, beginner-friendly,” 24-hour refund window | |
| PacketStream | $1/GB | Pay-as-you-go, user-hosted IP pool | Listed among the cheapest legitimate options, lightweight use | |
| Shifter | $25/month | Unlimited bandwidth, geo-targeting | Budget subscription tier, similar positioning to Storm Proxies | |
| InstantProxies | $1/IP datacenter, $1/GB residential ($10/mo min) | No-frills, test-before-you-buy | 4.5/5 Trustpilot, legitimate |
Key Two — Storm Proxies Is Your Closest Match
If what drew you to InstantProxies was the flat, no-per-GB, dirt-cheap pricing model, Storm Proxies is the closest legitimate equivalent: $10 per port, unlimited bandwidth, no hidden traffic caps, instant access after payment with no account activation wait . It owns its own proxy network rather than reselling, part of why it can undercut competitors on price . The tradeoffs are a dated HTTP-only setup and weaker geo-targeting, fine for light scraping and SEO work, not built for anti-bot-heavy targets.
Bottom Line
Storm Proxies and PacketStream give you that same bare-bones, cheap-shop pricing structure as InstantProxies, both check out as legitimate with real track records, not just low prices.

Hey,
I have already tested over 30 residential proxy providers. But all of them- DataImpulse, Proxy-Seller, and Oxylabs are my top recommendations. They are very cost-effective and have a high success rate in our tests.
