Whenever I stream movies from google drive in android I get bandwidth upto 250 mbps when my connection is capped at 50mbps. Hows that possible. you can see the screenshot, at top, the bandwidth rate is shown, it is totally legit but how that possible what is the science behind it. and this only occur when I stream from google drive on mxplayer or vlc player.

Some isp’s (Internet Service Provider) use caching servers. It is used by isp’s to save global bandwidth by caching popular sites/ services like google (gdrive, youtube), netflix, and even p2p (torrents).
Also, you try checking your net speed on speedtest.net and then on fast.com (by netflix). If your isp supports caching netflix then you will probably get much higher speed on fast.com xD

Unusually high streaming speeds is due to app caching/ pre-downloading media before streaming.
There is no way ISP would allow speed more than allotted bandwidth.
but still it depends on current bandwidth, using speed test & showing in that is another reason
