1 September is the date when application fee waiver is not in effect anymore.

You may apply but the school system will ask for the application fee 50$ if you choose to ignore it and go on with application process. These will happen:

  1. You may not received any feedback from school concerning your application and how to setup your edu account

  2. You may receive feedback with all relevant information for setting up your edu but eventually they will ask for the fee and this will be one of the reason why your edu account will be shutdown or locked.

UMGC normally have application fee waiver in certain months specially last dates of the month.

So you should check their website monthly to know if fee waiver is being issued by the administration if it is issued then that will be an open door for you to apply and register for class immediately.
