I didn’t use a bin. I used a real debit card. They deducted $1. Any card from any country works. You also need a US number for verification.

Many thanks, REALJackSparrow, for this detailed, working method for getting a legitimate .Edu email address. On the one hand, yes, it does work; an .edu email is issued in your name.
But, on the other hand, once you’ve registered for a course, which you explain is vital for this method to work, and you’re right about that, the people from this University NEVER stop contacting you!
They text me, call me, email me… almost on a daily basis. I don’t respond, but the messages they leave suggest that they would like to collect the $1,500 I owe for having registered for one course.
After two weeks of this, I decided that having this .edu email address isn’t worth all the unexpected collateral “pain in the you-know-what,” so I decided to drop the blasted course. And, guess what? For me, at least, the page where you’re directed to in order to drop a course doesn’t work; it just spins and spins, never loading properly. Now, I’ve emailed them, hoping to have them drop this headache manually. Damn, Sam!

Why the hell people are providing their real contact details while doing such fraud things. Are people really getting that dumb?
There is another guy here named OM(not going to tag him but) whose gihtub dev pack is not getting activated even after multiple times. and still he is trying to apply continuously and that guy is using his real name on such forum.
I really feel petty for such people.
@REALJackSparrow sometimes, people really don’t deserve good things. don’t share your good things here to get them wasted.
As such, registering with your real personal details & documents is not fraud. The offer of a fee waiver was legitimate. The Edu mail is provided to everyone who registers. You could act as a legitimate student who was interested in enrolling but later decided to drop out.
But it’s usually better to use throwaway details to avoid unnecessary headaches.

I dropped the enrolled course in fear. Am I safe now, because I fear that they may ask to pay fee etc if I don’t drop the course before starting. Please answer, and can I have the edu mail even after all this?
Just chill, everything is going to be fine. They might block access to the mail after few months.

there is no way to cancel it, the school umgc itself will revoke your registration if not settled. this is why once you get the email and has access to outlook 365, you should utilize all the .edu BENEFITS out there.
What did you do after that? Have you cancelled your class to save from paying them $1500? I too have the issue please help, and is the edu email exist after cancelling?
