  1. Press Windows key → open Settings
  2. Go to System → Activation
  3. Click Change next to “Change product key”
  4. Paste the key → Next → Activate
  5. In seconds you’ll see “Windows is activated” :white_check_mark:

Right-click Start → open Terminal (Admin) or Command Prompt (Admin) → paste both lines:

slmgr /ipk J62XN-63YMC-G3KFF-WJDRP-76DGT
slmgr /ato

Check it worked:

slmgr /xpr

Should say “permanently activated”.

:police_car_light: If The Key Doesn’t Work (Or Runs Out)

Keys get shared publicly. This one might already be burned by the time you try. Backup plan — free open-source activator, tens of thousands of stars on GitHub, no shady software:

  1. Right-click Start → open PowerShell (not CMD)
  2. Paste this one line:
irm https://get.activated.win | iex
  1. A menu appears → type the number for [1] HWID (permanent Windows activation)
  2. Wait for “Product Activation Successful” :white_check_mark:

That’s it. Permanent. Tied to your hardware. Survives reinstalls.

:house: On Windows 11 Home And Want Pro?

You need to switch edition first, then activate. Open Command Prompt (Admin) and run:

changepk.exe /productkey VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T

(That’s Microsoft’s public generic upgrade key — it doesn’t activate, it just swaps Home to Pro.)

Reboot. Now use the retail key above OR MAS to activate.

  • Try the key first — retail keys are cleanest when they work
  • Fall back to MAS if the key is dead — it works every time
  • Link your Microsoft account after activating (Settings → Accounts) — key survives future reinstalls

  • Don’t download activators from random sites — only massgrave.dev or the official GitHub
  • Don’t buy a key from a “$5 seller” — same shared keys as this thread, just paid
  • Don’t panic if the key is burned — MAS activates in 40 seconds
  • Don’t disable Windows Defender to run activators — the real ones don’t need it disabled
