The 2025 No-BS Guide to YouTube ReVanced

Sick of ads hijacking your videos every 3 minutes? Want to lock your screen and keep the music going?
Before you throw money at YouTube Premium — chill. You can get everything it offers (plus extras) for free.

Enter YouTube ReVanced — not some shady mod, but a legit patcher that lets you customize the real YouTube app your way.

:puzzle_piece: How To Install (No Root Needed)

Step 1: Download the Manager

Head to :backhand_index_pointing_right: https://revanced.app
Grab ReVanced Manager APK and download it.

Step 2: Install the Manager

Tap the APK → Install.
If Android yells about “unknown sources,” enable it.
(Every sideloaded app needs that. Chill.)

Step 3: Install MicroG

Needed to sign into YouTube.
Open ReVanced Manager, tap the MicroG install prompt, and done.

Step 4: Patch YouTube

  1. Open Manager → Patcher tab.
  2. Tap Select an application.
  3. If you don’t have YouTube, it’ll fetch the right version safely (usually from APKMirror).
  4. Hit Select patches.

Step 5: Pick Your Features

Default works fine, but if you like control, add:

  • General ads
  • Video ads
  • SponsorBlock
  • Background playback
  • Amoled
  • Hide cast button
  • Minimized playback

Then tap Done.

Step 6: Patch & Install

Tap the blue Patch button → wait a few minutes.
When it finishes, hit Install.
Boom — your new YouTube ReVanced is ready.
Sign in using MicroG and enjoy.

There is Two more better way than this

Method 1

  1. Download Brave Browser from Play Store
  2. Open youtube website and enjoy youtube premium for lifetime without downloading any third party virus app.

Method 2

  1. Download any good vpn from playstore
  2. Connect to Albania country
  3. Boom your YouTube is adfree.

Is there no YT Revanced version for Android TV?

Not really because Revanced has much more features, like Sponsor Block/ Skip To Highlight/ Play in Background/ Device Spoofing for more resolutions and much more + the YouTube Web experience even with brave isn’t that good. Thanks for the comment though :smiley:

There is an alternative that has almost all Revanced features for Android TV, it’s called SmartTube :heart:

Same here, I’ve been using it and it honestly makes the whole YouTube experience way smoother. Once you get used to no ads and background play, it’s hard to go back.

just download brave browser ,open tab for yt and yt music then add that tab to homescreen,open yt music from homscreen app like normal app,now you are good to go like background play

First of all, Albania IP is known to show no ads on YouTube, Use Albania IP via VPN

2nd: Use Brave Browser

3rd: Use Admuncher on Win10/11, it blocks all ads

4rd: Use Mullvad free dns, its blocks ads at dns level

5rd: Use VPN known for blocking ads, I use CyberghostVPN [Premium]..there are much more.

Use all methods as COMBO, all at once​:fire::fire::fire:

Results: No bullshit ads will show up.
