I was all set to abandon the small memory iPod for a Sony Digital FLAC player until a really good friend gifted me with a 2 TB Apple iPod !! I have been banging my head against the wall for weeks now because while the iPod will easily take .mp3 music files (even though they are not coded as “iTunes”, it fights .Flac and LP Hi Res files but playing them back at what sounds like a Very Slow speed (can’t even understand the words of the song). I have dBpoweramp v.17 music converter as well as Switch Sound File Converter, but I simply do not know what settings to use.I tried converting a .FLAC file to ALAC but it would not play at all on the iPod. When I convert a Flac File into an mp3 file it will play on the iPod, but the Fidelity is gone. I have not been able to convert an LP Hi Res music album into any format that will play in the iPod. I am not a computer expert at all but I know that many on this Board really know about this stuff.
Your HELP is Greatly appreciated!!
