Step 1 — Download
Go to getsharex.com → click Download → run the installer. Clean setup, no bloatware, no “install our toolbar” tricks.

Step 3 — Set your upload destination
Go to Destinations in the left panel → pick where your files go:

Step 4 — Try OCR
Press the OCR hotkey (set one in Hotkey Settings) → drag a box around any text on screen → ShareX reads it and copies the text to your clipboard. Works on screenshots, PDFs in browser, error dialogs, anything visible on screen.
First time use: Windows may need to download a language pack. ShareX will prompt you — just click install and wait 30 seconds.
