🌍 Part 6 — The UK, USA & Religion Triangle — Where It Gets Uncomfortable
Britain controlled Palestine (1920–1948). Britain appointed Haj Amin al-Husseini as Grand Mufti of Jerusalem in 1921. He radicalized, went to Hitler, met him in Berlin (November 28, 1941). Encouraged extermination over deportation. Recruited Muslim SS units.
The Holocaust diverted massive German war resources — trains, soldiers, logistics all used for genocide instead of fighting. This weakened Germany militarily while giving the Allies moral justification to completely dismantle it.
While the world focused on the horror, the U.S. and UK were quietly grabbing every Nazi scientist and piece of technology they could find. Paperclip ran simultaneously with the Nuremberg trials. Same government prosecuting Nazis for war crimes = hiring other Nazis for rocket science.
Post-war: Holocaust sympathy → creation of Israel (1948) → Jerusalem (holy to three religions) became center of new geopolitical order. British control of Palestine was already a religious-political-colonial situation.
The uncomfortable question: Did the U.S. and UK manipulate or exploit these events knowing the post-war technology grab was the real prize?
