Windows 10 Brightness Option not Showing

Guys Yesterday my drivers are updated automatically after the reboot my laptop brightness is changed to high also i can’t find the brightness setting anywhere

  • You might not see the Change brightness for the built-in display slider on desktop PCs that have an external monitor. To change the brightness on an external monitor, use the buttons on it.
  • The Brightness slider appears in action center in Windows 10, version 1903. To find the brightness slider in earlier versions of Windows 10, select Settings Gear-shaped Settings icon > System > Display, and then move the Change brightness slider to adjust the brightness.
  • If you don’t have a desktop PC and the slider doesn’t appear or work, try updating the display driver. In the search box on the taskbar, type Device Manager, and then select Device Manager from the list of results. In Device Manager, select Display adapters, then select the display adapter. Press and hold (or right-click) the display adapter name, then select Update driver and follow the instructions.
  • Check the Power Plans, you can change the settings to your needed ones, Simply Google searches how to fix brightness via Power plan settings.

If you already updated the driver & already have seen nothing in there under Power plans, then this might be due to external graphics being used as default or not present.

If you’re using a desktop PC with an external display–or even connecting an external display to a laptop or tablet–you’ll need to adjust this setting on the external display itself, and you usually won’t be able to do it automatically, so, better to go with your Graphic display adopter, Right Click on the home screen, Click > Graphics Properties > Display > Color > Brightness.

i just changed the display driver to Microsoft Basic Display Adaptor from AMD Radeom ™ R5 Graphics

Finally i can see the brightness bar

but i tried to change the brightness level brightness bar arrow mark is moving but i can’t find the brightless level of display is not changed
then finally tried to change the display driver to AMD Radeom ™ R5 Graphics from Microsoft Basic Display Adaptor
