Open a web browser (recommended Brave in incognito or private mode)
Open https://www.perplexity.ai/, enter your email address (Gmail, Yahoo, or Outlook – as you will need to log in on various devices or desktops)
Check your email to get the 6-digit codes to log in
Select your plan – choose Education
Click Verify as student
Follow the steps here carefully

First name: Enter EXACTLY as in the Student ID
Last name: Enter EXACTLY as in the Student ID
Date of Birth: Any Month, Any Day, BUT MUST BE BETWEEN 2000 – 2003 for the Year to ensure appropriate age as a student

A SheerID appears – click Proceed
Wait a few seconds – a UCL Sign in appears, close this tab
