:graduation_cap: An online master’s you can verify before you pay for it

Same diploma as on-campus — same faculty, same transcript, no “online” stamp on it. You don’t have to trust that; you can check every part yourself, free, before spending a cent.
Sorted below by whatever’s making you hesitate. :backhand_index_pointing_down:

🎥 The classes themselves — free to watch before you enroll (lectures, notes, syllabi)
🗣️ What students actually say — real difficulty, real weekly hours, no brochure spin
📄 Proof it's the SAME degree — official 'no online label' pages + real grade data
  • CU Boulder — states it: no “online” on transcript or diploma.
  • UIUC — diploma just reads “Master of Computer Science.”
  • UT Austin — same faculty, same degree as campus.
  • Penn MCIT/MAS-CS — Ivy diploma, no online tag.
  • Course Critique — GT’s own grade distribution per class.
  • Buzz Grades — same data, cleaner view.
🌐 People like you who already did it — write-ups in English, 中文, Português
🎯 The full menu — 9 schools + compare-tools, not just the two you found
🛠️ Once you're in — plan the whole degree, grab seats, find every note repo

💡 Where this quietly pays off — 5 spots you'll recognize
  • Torn between two classes next term? Sort OMSCentral by real hours/week — no gambling a semester on a mystery.
  • Recruiter side-eyes “online”? Your transcript doesn’t say online — screenshot the school’s own page that confirms it.
  • Not sure you can even handle grad CS? Watch one full Open Courseware lecture tonight. It clicks → apply. It doesn’t → you just saved $7K.
  • Coming from nursing, teaching, or sales? Penn MCIT is built for zero-CS backgrounds — you’re not locked out.
  • Want to know if a class grades brutally before you enroll? Course Critique shows the actual A/B/C spread. No surprises.

An online degree you can audit from the outside was never the gamble — skipping the audit is.
